Shipping Policy

** Due to Covid-19, some shipping times may take longer than usual. **

U.S. Shipping Policy:

Most orders take approximately 3-5 business days to process and ship (Subject to change). Orders which have items in stock will ship in 1 -2 business days. If a product does not specify a shipping time please call for accurate lead times. AMS Fireplace Inc. ships Nation Wide. AMS Fireplace Inc. uses multiple delivery methods. Parcel carrier such as UPS, USPS and Freight Carrier. Third party accounts are not permitted. Our primary delivery method for the U.S. is UPS ground, this excludes Hawaii and Alaska which ships via USPS. Due to product weight, size, shape, or safety standards, some items are not shippable by parcel carrier, and require safe delivery via common over-sized parcel carrier or freight carrier. In such instances, it may be necessary to include a weight based freight charge due to the additional cost to deliver the product(s). Shipping charge will be reflected in the cart when viewed.

Custom & Made-to-Order Products Policy:

All custom and made-to-order products are subject to longer lead times. Please call for more information. 

* There are no free shipping qualifications for orders outside of the contiguous US. All orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii will be charged current and standard shipping rates.

For residential & business orders shipped by common carrier, normal delivery is to curbside or loading dock and not inside the home or business. Include the most relevant phone number to contact when the order is placed. Customer is responsible for additional charges in case(s) of missed appointments or re-delivery. Include special delivery instructions at checkout under our comment box.

Orders Shipped Within the Contiguous States

Shipping costs may be calculated by adding items to your cart. Simply enter your zip code for rate options.

Expedited Shipping Options:

* Due to Covid-19 we currently cannot guarantee expedited shipping times and delivery dates.

Expedited shipping options are available for most items in our store including UPS 3-Day Select, 2-Day Air or Next Day Air. Just add your items to your cart and enter your zip to calculate freight costs for all shipping options.

Shipping costs may be calculated by adding items to your cart. Simply enter your zip code for rate options.

Order Cancellation:

Orders cannot be canceled once submitted. Due to our commitment to process orders quickly, once the checkout process is completed our warehouse is immediately notified to pick and pack the order for shipment. Other reasons for this is that many of the products we carry are shipped directly from the manufacturer. To ensure prompt delivery the order is transmitted to them as soon as possible, making it near impossible to stop the shipment after they have received the order. The only exception to this is for products that are backordered. A backorder may be cancelled any time prior to shipping.

Refused Shipments:

Customer is responsible for additional charges in case(s) of missed delivery, re-delivery and refused packages.

Address Correction:

Customer is responsible for additional charges that may accrue if the delivery address is not correct. It is the customer's responsibility to confirm the delivery address and billing information after placing an order.

Scheduled Deliveries:

AMS Fireplace will contact the customer for confirmation of freight delivery with a date and approximate time. Once the date and time are confirmed please be available during the delivery timeframe. If no-one is available at the time of delivery the item will be shipped back to the shipping origin and the customer will be charged a 25% restocking fee.  

UPS Delivery Days:

Our UPS account delivers Monday - Friday 7 am - 7 p.m. Transit times exclude Saturdays, Sundays and all major Holidays.

Freight Items: Freight items must be thoroughly examined at the time of delivery. In the event that the freight item arrives damaged please thoroughly inspect the package for any external or internal damages while the driver is present. If damage has occurred follow the instructions on the Freight Terms & Conditions you received and agreed to prior to shipment, and contact our offices at (877) 531-9867. Once you have received and signed for the package, the shipping company and AMS Fireplace Inc. are released from any responsibility for damage and all damage claims will be denied, so it is essential to inspect the package thoroughly. When returning an item that was initially shipped freight, it is essential that the item be returned via freight shipping service. The packaging used for items that are shipped freight may not be sufficient for ground shipment handling. Items returned damaged will not receive a refund. AMS Fireplace will contact the customer for confirmation of freight delivery with a date and approximate time. Once the date and time are confirmed please be available during the delivery timeframe. If no-one is available at the time of delivery the item will be shipped back to the shipping origin and the customer will be charged a 25% restocking fee.
